Peace
I have no idea how to explain it, but when my kids are here in the house, sleeping safe and sound, all is right with the world. It’s as if any worries that I have for them just disappear. There’s only one word for it – peace.

Before I tuck in for the night, I like to wander from room to room to make sure everyone's sleeping comfortably, is properly covered with a blanket and isn't being slobbered on by the dog.
Few moments bring me more peace than this one, and your reflection that all is right with the world is right on the money. It absolutely is.
Good to e-see you again...I've been deliberately disconnected for a bit. Needed a vacation, and thankfully I got it. Still, it's nice to be back.
